Quotes of the moment.
"When you get tired, think back to days like this when you regretted it. Think of the days you treasure. Receive strength from it and live on."
-Shin Jihyun(49 DAYS)

"At this moment, there are 6 billion, 4 hundred, 71 million, 8 hundred, 18 thousand, 6 hundred, 71 people in the world. Some are running scared.. some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day.. others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good.. struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world, 6 billion souls -- and sometimes.. all you need is 1."

-Peyton Elizabeth Sawyer

"We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love." -Tom Robbins

"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering."
- Ida Scott Taylor

Peyton: That's what he writes. But what he says is a totally different story.
Haley: Sometimes people write the things that they can't say.

"Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it's a lot like your world, maybe it's nothing like it. But if you look closer, you might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way. Someone trying to find their place. Someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it seems like you are the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by. But that feeling's a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in the world, to remind us that it won't always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you."

Profile.

My name is Sherlene.
A girl who loves 동방신기 (DongBangShinKi) so much since 2005 but never met them even once. Even though they had been close to me a few times...
One day, I will. ;)
Music is my soul.
Take it away from me, takes away my life too.
One biggest weakness, once truly and faithfully in love, there's no more "I'll find someone better." Love is the only way that could lead her to become a complete idiot.

Where The Truth Lies @ 1:52 AM
Listening to: 총 맞은 것처럼(Like Being Hit By A Bullet) by Baek Jiyoung

This song is heartbreaking. Baek Jiyoung's powerful voice made the song sounded even deeper as if she's releasing the pain out through the lyrics...

Nah~ not in an emo mood. Just appreciating the song. ;)
Recently I watched a movie acted by Jang Geunsuk. Titled, "Where the Truth Lies" and also called, "The Case of Itaewon Homicide". Now, I never planned to watch this movie, 'cus I found out about it when I was viewing Geunsuk's profile and was curious. At first I wasn't interested, but when I read that it was based on a true story, I tried reading the synopsis and watched the trailer... and well... I decided to search for the DVD at various CD shops, however it seems that it's not that well-known. Never gave up and found it at one of the CD shop in One Utama. (: Was so excited, and decided to drag dad to watch it with me, in case I have trouble understanding it, and the fact that it's based on a true story - my dad is interested in movies like this too. Oh yeah, besides that, I read some comments saying that Geunsuk's acting here was praised by a lot of people, before he becomes well-known.

Based on the true story of the April 3, 1997 murder of college student Jung-pil Jo. The murder took place in the bathroom of Burger King in the Itaewon district of Seoul. Jung-pil Cho was stabbed 9 times in the chest and neck. The names of the murder suspects were changed for the movie. Two men, Arthur Patterson (the son of a U.S. military service member) & Edward Lee (a Korean-American civilian), were the primary suspects. Because of the inability to clearly identify which of the two men murdered Jung-pil Cho, the two suspects were eventually freed from lengthy prison sentences.

The case was quite famous because of the unfair decisions regarding the release of the two suspects. I read somewhere saying that they were going to open the case again early 2010, but I couldn't find any further informations anymore. I mean, after watching the movie, since it's based on a true story it made me feel even furious thinking about the fact that the murderer is free from any punishment. The most ridiculous line that made me angry in the movie was when one of the suspect said to one of their friends that they both killed the guy for FUN. Yeah, for fun. I mean, it's a line from the movie, but if it's really true... seriously, humans can be really scary. I guess, this is more like a psycho movie. Can you imagine Jang Geunsuk as a psychopath? After watching the movie, I kept thinking about the murder, sending a cold shiver down my spine. >_<

There were a lot of questions throughout the movie, and I kept bothering daddy with my questions. I was confused a bit too. The movie is quite specific in showing the stories told by the two suspects but I'm still wondering why is Geunsuk's character behaving as if he's admitting/showing that he did kill the guy but he's also very sure that he didn't kill the guy. I mean... like seriously, there's something wrong somewhere and I still don't get it. Or maybe it's just the movie. Btw, the guy that acted as the victim is Song Joongki.

And I shall go to sleep before I start thinking about this movie again.
Thank God, Geunsuk is cute. Still, scary in that movie.
