The sound of the rain and piano played, when mashed up in the same song, damn, it sounded so beautiful. And sooo... Micky Yoochun's style of music. Thanks again oppa for a really beautiful song. It's the Mid-Autumn@Mooncake@Lantern Festival (Zhongqiu Jie ) today! (Tsukimi festival in Japanese),(Chuseok festival in Korean).

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the few most important holidays in the Chinese calendar, the others being Chinese New Year and Winter Solstice, and is a legal holiday in several countries. Farmers celebrate the end of the summer harvesting season on this date. Traditionally on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomelos together. I remembered playing with lanterns outside of my house with neighbours. I love how they made different kind of shapes for the lanterns and we compared it. (: It was amazing. Should play with it again one day. :D Anyway, I learnt that Korean and Japanese do celebrates it too but of course, kind 'of different from the Chinese people. Here's the Korean first.

Chuseok is referred to as the Korean Thanksgiving and is really a harvest celebration. Chuseok is also known as “Hangawi,” and it’s translated as “Harvest Moon Festival.” Chuseok is a three-day holiday in Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar.

As an agrarian society throughout history, Hangawi was the day in which Koreans thanked the ancestors for the year’s harvest and shared their abundance with family and friends.

So what we’re really saying is that it’s a BIG holiday in Korea. So what do people do during this holiday? Of course they eat and drink (alcohol)! Isn’t that what holidays are for: gathering family together and having a feast. There are certain customs with Chuseok.

On the morning of Chuseok Day, Songpyeon (type of Korean rice cake) and food prepared with the year’s fresh harvest are arranged to give thanks to ancestors through Charye (ancestor memorial service). After Charye, families visit their ancestors’ graves and engage in Beolcho, where weeds around the burial grounds are removed. As the night nears, families and friends enjoy the beautiful view of the full harvest moon and play folk games such as Ganggangsullae (Korean circle dance).

Here's the Japanese.

Tsukimi traditions include displaying　decorations made from Japanese pampas grass (susuki) and eating rice dumplings called Tsukimi dango in order to celebrate the beauty of the moon. Seasonal produce are also displayed as offerings to the moon. Sweet potatoes are offered to the full moon, while beans or chestnuts are offered to the waxing moon the following month. The alternate names of the celebrations, Imomeigetsu　(literally "potato harvest moon") and Mamemeigetsu ("bean harvest moon") or Kurimeigetsu ("chestnut harvest moon") are derived from these offerings.

I wished TVXQ would take picture of them wearing hanbok together again. :( I miss them all together. No matter what, I'll always have faith in them. Aja aja fighting oppa(s)!

Today was really... a terrible brain memory that I had. I kept forgetting things and what happened was on our way back, when we reached Taman Bahagia, Menaga, Hani & I walked out from the train and I realised I left something, and while the sound of the bell that "tells" the door is gonna close, I ran inside quickly. O_O; Nasib baik tak tersepit. And nearly everyone in the train looked at me, while I chuckled, looking at Hani and Menaga that was shocked and at the same time their facial expression tells me they are saying, "Bangang betol." (Idiot!) I laughed at myself while getting some stares and smiles from the people in the train. XD Embarrassing, I know. Luckily I do not have to get off the train 'cus the next station was actually the last station, Kelana Jaya and the train will turn back anyway. I just... well, enjoyed the funny moment with an aunty smiling at me non-stop. XD I bet she wanted to laugh. Hahahaha.

Moving on... I told myself I won't fall for hairy guys. XD But Gerard Butler is one hot and cute hairy guy. ;P Damn, he's hot. And yeah, he's a REAL man too.


O_O; Omg. I like hairy, manly guys? This cannot be. He doesn't have that much of a hot body (despite the hairy chest), but I can say, he has beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile. Seriously I was melted when I watch him in "P.S. I love you" though I prefer the book more. (: Anyway, I still miss my guys. Dong.Bang.Shin.Ki. Guys, please be okay and stay together. I'll always be here to support you guys. Never give up okay?
